Felencia is the Managing Director of ke:kini ruang bersama, a space created to support the social, arts and culture movement in Indonesia. For the past 15 years, she has been working on research, cultural policies and advocacy efforts and their intertwining relations with creative economy and creative cities.
Her passion for sustainability of the arts and culture sector led her to do research/programs on arts philanthropy and tax relief to business supports to the cultural sector. She partook in the advocacy for ratification of UNESCO Convention 2015 and the writing of the National MidTerm Development Plan for the Film Sector for 2014-2019 under the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
She has worked as a Program Officer for Arts and Culture for Hivos Regional Office Southeast Asia (2006-2011) and led the country analysis research on Indonesian cultural sector for the Danish Centre for Culture and Development. Since 2010, she focuses her work on Cultural and Creative Economy. She worked as a Creative Economy Consultant for the British Council (2013-2018) where she liaises and designs programs to implement the Memorandum of Understanding between the UK government and the Indonesian government to support the Creative Economy in Indonesia.
